The Carriage House in Plain is a charming studio apartment on river frontage shared property with a private sandy beach and more than two acres of a park like nature setting.
The Carriage House is located in a stand-alone building on the beautiful River Lodge property with its own spacious patio surround by poplar trees including private hot tub, BBQ, and picnic table. The studio features a propane river rock fireplace and wood paneling all-around. It includes a queen bed and a twin-size cubby-loft, with curtain-drawn privacy uniquely designed into the stair landing. The cozy bathroom features a shower with an eye-catching and foot-sensation stoney floor. The kitchenette includes a sink, microwave, coffeepot, mini-fridge, and adequate tableware for 4 people. The Carriage House also has ample room for cozy seating, with a love seat and arm chair by the fire and a dining table that seats 4.
Besides the charm of the studio, you can enjoy the spacious grassy lawn right off of the patio or walk across the back yard to the gentle foot path that will take you down to the lower river flat and a little further to the river’s edge where you will find River Lodge’s private, sandy beach on the Wenatchee River. The Carriage House has its own expansive patio area with hot tub, BBQ and picnic table.
Plain is an extraordinary location for outdoor enthusiasts, offering both a peaceful setting and the opportunity to be in the heart of multiple seasonal activities. In the summer, people come to float the river, ride horses, hike the many trails, go off-roading (4 wheeling, trail riding or mountain biking), swim and boat at Lake Wenatchee, or fish at nearby Fish Lake. Plain in the winter offers great cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and nearby sleigh rides. There are two Sno Parks in the area, and it is just 30 minutes to Stevens Pass Resort and downhill skiing.
In every season wildlife is often seen. Birds, deer, and wild turkeys all frequent the 2.7 acre River Lodge property on the Wenatchee River.
River Lodge in Plain is minutes from the conveniences and activities of Plain, 10 minutes to Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake, and still only 20 minutes to from the Bavarian Village of Leavenworth for the events, festivities, lights, and more shops and restaurants.
As a shared property, you can also rent the River Lodge in Plain next door or the entire property as River Lodge in Plain Combo.River Lodge in Plain

This carriage house was ideal for the 2 of us! Quiet location, clean, and all we needed.

This property was very clean and nice. The only thing I would want someone considering this property to be aware of is that it’s 25 minutes from Leavenworth in a small town - Plain. Also, here are quite a few stairs since this loft is above the garage.

We love staying here! It's a Hidden Gem in the mountains where there is peace and quiet. We are returning guests and will continue to be returning guests because we love how comfortable and cozy The Carriage House is! We absolutely love it!!

Great studio apartment for a getaway! Enjoyed the hot tub, patio and lawn, and river access. Super close to Plain, within walking distance of restaurants and store there.

Loved our little getaway to the carriage house. It was just what we needed in the quaint little town of Plain. The carriage house was warm, welcoming and we will definitely find an excuse to get back there some time. We ate at the Old Mill Cafe and did a horse drawn sleigh ride locally as well as a day exploring Leavenworth.
