About Alpen Chalet
Summer, Winter, Fall, or Spring, there’s just nothing like taking the family for a special getaway or fun-filled vacation to the Alpen Chalet, a perfect place to be in every season! Located just a mile from downtown, it’s an easy– and scenic– walking distance to the shops, restaurants and festivals of the Bavarian village.
This place is ideal for recreation! Located right on the 17th green of the golf course, you can just imagine a relaxing round in one of the loveliest courses you’ll find anywhere! Even more, in the winter you can enjoy cross country skiing on the beautifully maintained Nordic trails of the golf course, surrounded by outstanding mountain scenery. (Alpen Chalet provides your own storage unit for skis, bikes, golf clubs, or equipment.) If you’re anticipating hiking the breathtaking trails of the Icicle Valley, Alpen Chalet is only a half mile to a trailhead, and is also just a few minutes’ walk from outstanding river rafting.
Fully furnished and comfortably decorated, Alpen Chalet sleeps up to 8 with 2 bedrooms(master suite has a jacuzzi bathtub!), plus a bedroom loft (with it's own fireplace), and a very comfortable double futon in the family room. (If your group is up to 12, ask about extending your space to include the Alpen Chalet Studio below.)
The attractively decorated kitchen is fully equipped, and the living room features a lovely glass-front fireplace, along with a fantastic view of the golf course. A large deck overlooking the golf course is perfect for relaxing outdoors, and a shared hot tub is available for your use. Altogether, this is a really special place for a really special vacation!
